Summary: It's no Das Boot
Comment: This movie's OK, I guess. If you're into fiberglass boat repair and all. Don't rent it for the special effects because they're terrible. Also, Johnny8ball needs to be beaten like the red-headed stepchild he is.

Summary: Transcendent
Comment: Few, if any, boat repair videos go to such great lengths to present fiberglass labor as spiritual growth and inner healing. This one does that and more.We are treated to a fascinating docudrama ultimately centering around a man, a boat, and water. The vessels by which we navigate water, the primary life-giver of this planet, is one of utmost importance for not only our survival but for our ability to flourish as a species. Bruce McDugal knows that in order to achieve a true sense of self-awareness we must take care of and nurture our means to navigate our world. This includes microparadigmatic thinking, i.e. fixing the fiberglass of our 'boat'. Instead of an exercise in the somewhat preachy and pedantic top-down strategy of disseminating his message, McDugal's method works up from the bottom, effortlessly guiding the student to understanding what it means to ride the tumultuous waves of everyday life. Fiberglass is but a piece of the puzzle, but without that piece one cannot go forward. And if one isn't going forward, they are at the mercy of the frequently unforgiving seas of fortune.
Chart the course of your life on your terms, with a little nudge from someone that can unleash the fiberglass fixer dwelling inside all of us. "Fiberglass Repair With Bruce McDugal" is a must.
